GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD CLEARING TREATMENT

The Miracle Mask

This is my first post on my blog and I was debating for some time which product to 'gush' about first. In January I purchased the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment and I have not been able to stop talking about this product since, so I figured this would be the perfect introduction.

This product is a detoxifying mud mask that can help with a long list of skin concerns. This face mask was formulated to fight all common skin concerns, such as; breakouts, blackheads, discoloration, razor bumps, enlarged pores and in-grown hairs and is suitable for all skin types. I have used this mask 4-5 times and can say that this is powerful stuff! The mask helps draw out dirt and congestion and leaves skin visibly clearer and softer. This mask isn't cheap and currently retails at around  £39.99/$69.99 for 30ml/1.2 oz, but in my opinion, well worth the investment.

I purchased this product online at http://www.feelunique.com, but is is available at Sephora Stores and now selected Marks and Spencers Stores. I purchased this mask as I had over-indulged over the Christmas period and my skin was feeling and looking a bit yuk! I had some congestion and blackheads on my nose and chin and a few breakouts on my cheek and jawline.

From the very first time I used this face mask I saw a noticeable difference immediately. You can visibly see the congestion pull-out from your pores as it dries and I noticed the amounts of blackheads on my nose were reduced just after ones use. Since using this mask, my skin is noticeably clearer and I have not had any breakouts since.

As you can see, this mask does not look very appealing. It is a thick, dark grey paste and can make quite the mess in the bathroom! I apply a thin layer all over my face and leave for 20 minutes, which at this point, the mask should be completely dry and you should not be able to move your face at all! I use this product once a week as I am currently alternating it with another one of my face masks, but you can use this mask as often as needed, or even as a targeted spot treatment.

Overall, an awesome product. A little pricey, but per jar you get 17 full face applications or 1,000 spot treatments, so that isn't too bad really. If you are looking for a deep cleansing face mask then I can definitely recommend this product. I am not easily impressed by skincare products, as I own so many, but this one really did blow me away.

Have any of you guys used this product? If so, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on it so please comment blow.

XOXO
