Clinique Even Better Makeup

Clinique Even Better Makeup

I purchased the Clinique's Even Better Foundation around 5-6 months ago. It is not a foundation that as been massively raved about amongst the beauty/blogging community, but I was curious to give it a try. I have some pigmentation and dark spots and this foundation is developed to help combat hyper-pigmention and help even out the skintone.

I purchased this foundation from my local Clinique counter at a department store and is cost £24.00 for 30ml, which is a little pricey but not as expensive as some foundations (Chanel imparticular!). This foundation has an SPF15 and I opted for the shade 05 Neutral. There are 26 shades to choose from and have a good variation from very fair to very dark.

This foundation is oil-free, which I like as I have oily skin. This foundation provides medium/buildable coverage and does cover any discoloration and blemishes really well. It gives a natural finish but if you have oily skin like me, you will definitely need to set this foundation with a powder and possibly blot and re-powder during the day. It feels lovely and light on the skin and I apply mine with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

The packaging, I cannot fault. It is nothing exciting but is simple and most importantly practical. It has a squeezy nozzle which makes it easy to control how much product comes out and makes life alot easier!

Overall, a lovely foundation. Good coverage and nice finish. This foundation did not blow me away and is not up their in my top 5 foundations but still, a lovely foundation and actually does what it claims to do!

XOXO
