bareMinerals Blush

bareMinerals Blush

I recently purchased my first ever blush from bareMinerals. I had done a post previously on the bareMinerals Matte Foundation, that I wasn't overly impressed with, so I didn't know what to expect with the blushes.

I purchased the blusher from http://www.feelunique.com as they were offering 10% off and the blush was £16.75. This is a little pricey for a blusher but I looked at some swatches online and they did look pretty. There are 23 shades to choose from and I opted for  'Giddy Pink'.

The  blusher itself is obviously a loose powder blush and the packaging is the same as the bareMinerals foundation. I prefer pressed blusher personally, simply due to the fact that they are less 'messy' but I thought I would give this one a try anyway!

This shade is beautiful and really looks lovely on the skin. They have good pigmentation but you don't have too be too light handed, like you have to with some blushes. The shade itself is a warm toned pink. It isn't as vibrant on the skin as it looks in the pot, but that doesnt make it any less beautiful. The powder is quite fine and blends beautifully into the skin with some fine shimmer running through it to give the skin a nice 'glow'.

As you can see from the swatch, the blusher has a lovely 'glowy' look to it, but it isn't glittery. I don't need to wear a highlighter when I wear this blush as I feel that my skin looks lovely wearing this alone. A lovely, glowy yet natural blush and I will definitely be trying out some more shades.
